  • What's exciting in 2011

    Two words, Big Bang...

Yes, after much anticipation they're are back, with the Big Bang Show to hit off the 2011 comeback

well, GD is also very exciting. love love love the new hair which is way better than the crazy afro he had in GD&TOP...

I do have this uncanny feeling that I will not like Big Bang's comeback song as much as I adored the melodies and lyrics from GD&TOP's album.

ps. loving the getto funk wardrobe, esp. GD  & TOP's leopard print ... less than 3

  • Quick Moss Green and Multiple eyeliner Tutorial

    *Double update*

Need to make up for the time I was out of town. Problem is, my place doesn't have internet yet. So bare with me please.

Quick Moss Green: For those who have to rush to work every morning and do not have time to take you those eye shadow palates and brushes, I highly recomend these shadow sticks. Just twist and apply and smudge to blend.

Multiple Liner: The eyeliner is the second most important part of my daily make up routine. You can transform your whole look by applying your eyeliner in multiple ways. Here are some of my faves.

  • A Summer Neutral Tutorial for Civic Holidays

The key to achieving a neutral look depends entirely on the shades of browns for the eye shadow. You want to choose colors that are 1 or 2 shades lighter than your skin for the initial base. For the second layer of shadow, you want to go 1 or 2 shades darker than your skin. Depending if your skin tone is more red or more yellow, you may want to choose a brown with more or less red in it (I prefer a little more red because my eye lids are a bit pale, if your skin is on the darker side or if you are more pink, you may want more brown than red). For the final step of highlighting your lids, choose a darker brown that is less red and not so dark that it looks black. To test the colors, it is best to do 3 streaks on the back of your forearm (the lighter side) and with the ligher base, followed by the second base and then the darker highlighting color.

    Colors used:

pale yellow shimmer base        red tan and dark brown shadow              black fluid line

  • Summer Casual Tutorial 1

First post after web reconstruction. Enjoy !

Some people find it difficult to use bold colors on their eyes during the day. I don't blame them. Putting too much color in the wrong way can make you look like a clown. But putting too little is a waste of time, cuz you end up not seeing any color.  The answer, like all things in life, do with "Moderation".

    Colors:

Light beige shimmer       Light pink shimmer       Red and Purple pigment
